Webhook Guides

To send downtime alerts directly to a Slack channel, create an Incoming Webhook in your Slack workspace and paste the URL into your ApexUptime Settings.

1. Go to the Slack API dashboard and create a new App.
2. Activate Incoming Webhooks from the features menu.
3. Click "Add New Webhook to Workspace".
4. Select the target channel and copy the generated Webhook URL.
5. Paste the URL into your ApexUptime Dashboard > Settings > Integrations.

Discord webhooks are natively supported. You can quickly generate a webhook link directly from any Discord text channel.

1. Open your Discord server and click the gear icon next to a text channel to edit it.
2. Navigate to Integrations > Webhooks and click New Webhook.
3. Name the webhook (e.g., "ApexUptime Alerts") and copy the Webhook URL.
4. Paste the URL into your ApexUptime Dashboard > Settings > Integrations.

Receive incident alerts in your Teams channels using Workflows or Incoming Webhook connectors.

1. In MS Teams, go to the channel you want to send alerts to and select Workflows (or Connectors).
2. Search for and add the Incoming Webhook connector.
3. Provide a name and create the webhook, then copy the provided URL.
4. Paste the URL into your ApexUptime Dashboard > Settings > Integrations.

Connect ApexUptime to PagerDuty, Opsgenie, Zapier, or your own proprietary backend. We send a standard JSON payload via HTTP POST.
